Our first run to the Mammoth Orange in Fairmead was well attended despite a questionable lead-in day. On Friday we were frantically emailing each other trying to figure out the pending weather, and what to do in case of all the "ifs". Well we finally left it with the run being a "go", unless it was raining hard . . . well it did not rain at all! We had a beautiful day to drive our classics down some great county roads, and eat a very good hamburger.

The only "mishap" was a dead battery sitting in new member Kyle's GTO. But never fear, jumper cables came out of almost every trunk to get him on the road again!

Did I mention that it was a beautiful day to eat a burger!

After the run, Sam and Elaine invited the group over for fresh strawberry shortcake . . . YUMMY!!
