Important; Read Carefully!

How To Book Your Room At The Pines!!*

In order to make as many rooms available for those who register their car, a convention registration number must be in place with the hotel when making your room reservation!

Step One; Send in your registration form to Sam Fisher

(When filling out your registration form please take the time to BLOCK PRINT the information. Sam needs to be able to tell the difference between the numeric 1, a small case l and the upper case I . . . just as examples. It is Very important to receive your email notification in a timely basis!)

Step Two; Sam will verify your entry, and add your name to the entry list

Step Three; After you receive an email verification of your entry you can call the Pines and book your room. The Pines will verify your name on the list and book your room. You may book one room per car entered.

30 days from the event we will withdraw all of our restrictions on booking rooms.

Alternate Hotels

Rooms at The Pines Resort are all booked.

However, we have two fantastic backup hotels available. The Forks, and Miller's Landing. Both are at Bass lake, and both have offered their great rooms at a discount for our convention, and both have on-site dining.

Mention you are with the Pontiac Convention and you will receive our discount.

Both hotels are less than 8 miles around the lake from The Pines Resort!

The following schedule is Tentative!

• Thursday: Informal check-in; additionally we are working on putting together a night time activity that you will not want to miss! What is being worked on is a trip on the Sugar Pine Railroad. Down at the bottom of the valley we will be treated to an old fashion Melodrama play! this is where you get to Boo and Hiss to your heart's content! We are working on group transportation so you won't have to get your show ride dirty!

• Friday: Registration Opens: Wine & Cheese tours of the lake and an informal "Hospitality on the Deck" in the evening!

• Saturday: Car show, live entertainment, guest speakers, and the Banquet and Awards Ceremony in the evening!  Warning! The banquet facility seats about 330. The past two conventions have filled that quickly, so it is recommended that you book your banquet seating as early in that process as possible.

• Sunday: A delicious "All You Can Eat" buffet breakfast in the fabulous Lake View Room, overlooking Bass Lake! This is your chance to talk with friends and say your "good-bys" until next time; and have a great breakfast in the process.

For those who may wish to come early, and or stay over, the Pines Resort has graciously agreed to extend the very special room rates we negotiated. This is your chance to have a great family vacation at a great location!

• Room rates: Realizing that room rates are for the most part, the biggest expense most will pay at the convention, the club spent several months fighting to get the best possible rates! (We actually walked away from the table several times!) After much work, we are happy to say the we finally got them down to the same rates we negotiated in 2008! That means the Chalet you paid $99.00 for SIX years ago, will again cost you only $99.00 in 2014!
