We're going "Back to the Pines" for
Pontiacs at the Pines II
To begin taking registrations for the
2008 Pontiac/Oakland Western Regional Convention!
Who Can Register Now? All those who entered the 2005 convention are "first in line" to register, and should enter NOW!
(We are giving the '05 attendees the first chance to register for two reasons; as a "thanks" for their support 3 years ago, and since we will have a 160 car maximum due to space limitations.)
How Do I Get The Entry Form? You may download the full flyer here,
or you may download only the classes and registration form here; both in .pdf format. (We will email the form to all 2005 entrants who supplied us with an email address, and will snail-mail entry forms to those persons who did not.
Who's Next To Register? Starting 3/17/08 we will accept entries from those on our "interest list". If you are on that list, feel free to send in your entry now. (All "early" entries will be held, along with the check, until the proper time before it will be processed.)
The 2005 entrants will have until 3/16 to be the only persons allowed to register. The next 30 days registration will be open to all 2005 entrants, and those who have requested to be on our interest list. After 4/17/08 we will open registration to one and all.
If you download the entry form, feel free to mail it in as soon as you like. I will be checking to see what list you are on, and you will be placed accordingly.

Based on the number of inquires I've had, registrations will go pretty quick. Soooooo, don't procrastinate!

What's happening so far?
Membership in POCI will not be required to register for this Regional Convention.
The Convention has been expanded to 4 days, starting on Thursday, September 25, 2008;
The Saturday Car Show entry field has been set at a 160 car limit (Due to space, that will be a "hard" limit);
The Car Show will again be a Judged show (no participant judging);
The Awards Banquet seating has been expanded to 325 (This also will be a "hard limit");
We will again be enjoying a "sit-down" dinner. There will be a choice of 3 entries plus a vegetarian meal. We will also have special children's pricing.
"Wine & Cheese" boat trips around the lake have been scheduled;
A car wash area will be available;
A club display area will be made available, and will be judged for an award;
